We believe membership in a local church is important for all believers in Jesus Christ. You don't have to be in perfect agreement with everything we teach, but we do hope you would carefully consider the Bible's call for each member of the body of Christ to be connected with other members. The New Testament describes how the Lord "added to their number," of those who were joining the local church (Acts 2:47), and we would love for you to join our church family.
We welcome into our membership all who take the following vows in the presence of the Session:
1. Do you acknowledge yourself to be a sinner in the sight of God, justly deserving His displeasure, and without hope except through His sovereign mercy?
2. Do you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of sinners, and do you receive and rest upon Him alone for salvation as He is offered in the Gospel?
3. Do you resolve and promise, in humble reliance upon the grace of the Holy Spirit, that you will endeavor to live as becomes a follower of Christ?
4. Do you promise to support the Church in its worship and its work to the best of your ability?
5. Do you submit yourself to the government and discipline of the Church, and promise to strive for its purity and peace?
