Building the Church

Takeaway: Moses calls upon the people to bring a freewill offering for the building of the tabernacle. Those who are willing-hearted and wise-hearted are called to contribute their resources and skills. We learn that God is the one who gives gifts to his people, and he calls them to use those gifts and resources for building his Temple. This passage is a foreshadowing of the way men and women in the Church receive gifts of the Spirit to be used for the purpose of building the Church into its fullness.
