The Gift of Christ

Takeaway: Ephesians 4 describes how Christ by the Spirit has given gifts to his church. Upon closer study, though, the gift he gives is not a material object or even a special at-tribute; the gift he gives is himself. Through the gift of Christ, the church becomes the place where Christ is found, and where Christians experience Christ’s lordship.
