Lifting the Veil of Familiarity

Takeaway: Many people avoid reading Revelation because they find it confusing or unnecessary. The book’s intention, however, is to reveal not conceal. In fact, because our world constantly confronts us with powerful images of what life is about, we desperately need God to give us counter-images that refute the world’s propaganda. How does the world make you feel that Christianity is “on the wrong side of history”? If Revelation was intentionally confusing, what would that say about God?
