Plagues of Judgment, pt. 3: Purpose
Preacher: Cord Carlin Series: Exodus Scripture: Exodus 9:13– 10:2
Takeaway: Although knowing what God's judgment is and how he makes distinctions among people can be helpful, we're often left with the question: why? If he is willing to save some, why not save all? If his salvation is founded on grace alone freely given, why does he not freely save everyone? In the seventh plague, God reveals to us his purpose for judgment. What do you think the purpose of God's judgment is? What would be lost if God did not judge any but had mercy on all?
