Plagues of Judgment, pt. 2: Distinction
Preacher: Cord Carlin Series: Exodus Scripture: Exodus 8:20–32
Takeaway: God’s way of interacting with humanity is remarkably simple, yet utterly breathtaking. His judgement leaves one breathless, and so does his mercy. In Exodus, God makes a distinction between his people and Pharaoh’s people. He deals differently with one group than the other because of His electing, sovereign grace to save and redeem. Today, God is still present ‘in the land’ and he makes a distinction between those who are his people and those who are not his people. What is God’s election founded on? How does that shape the way you understand his judgement and salvation?
