Christmas Reversals: Outsiders Become Insiders

Takeaway: Most of us, in not-so-subtle ways, have been told what it looks like to be an insider in Christianity. Failing to meet that standard has kept many away from church and has left countless Christians feeling like imposters every Sunday. The Christmas story, however, completely reverses our understanding of insiders. The only way to be an insider with God is to embrace your identity as an outsider.
