Jesus Becomes Our Brother to Lead Us into a New Family
Preacher: Kevin Nelson Series: Advent Series: Celebrating Christ’s Humanity Scripture: Hebrews 2:10-18
Takeaway: Jesus was made like us, all of us, in every way. This makes him a sympathetic brother who knows our problems. Sympathy, however, isn’t his only goal in becoming our brother. He joins our family to lead us to a new family. This means he not only intimately knows your fears and temptations but does something about it. What difference does it make that Jesus can truly sympathize with what you are going through? How does his humanity bring credibility to what he is calling you to do?
