Thanksgiving by Grace

Takeaway: It’s hard to be thankful for something you don’t think you need or want. We think thankfulness will come when God “blesses us” to the point of independence. Christ gave bread to the hungry crowd so they could understand their deeper need was for utter dependence on the bread of life. Where has God made you dependent on him? Why are these circumstances so hard to be thankful for?
