God Dwells with Us
Preacher: Kevin Nelson Series: The Gospel of John Scripture: John 1:14–18
What does it mean to have God’s presence in our midst? Isn’t it enough to know him and know his forgiveness? John 1 points to Jesus as the final Temple. This isn’t spiritualizing an external form of religion; it is fulfilling everything the temple signified. What does the Old Testament idea of Temple tell us about Jesus? What is missing if the significance of the Temple is missing from our Christianity?
