Receiving Grace

Takeaway: Why does the church always seem to value those who look like they have it all together when God constantly seems to choose those whose lives are a hot mess? It may not seem fair that grace can come to undeserving people until we realize that it can only come to those who dare to be real sinners. In Jacob’s final blessing to his sons, he chooses his greatest blessing to go to those who seem least deserving. This is the counterintuitive path to receiving grace; it only comes through humility and repentance.
